Graphic Designer

The Graphic designer i found is named Al Grivetti.  He designed the logo for the Big Ten conference.  The conference originally had three schools but they had just inducted an eleventh.  So when all designed the logo he used the negative space on both sides of the T to create the number eleven.  Mr. Grivetti is now an emeritus professor of graphic design at Clarke College. Here is a link to the information i found about him http://chronicle.com/blogPost/Designed-to-Change/24716/.  Here is a link to a picture of the logo http://www.google.com/imgres?.

2nd design

For this design I used opacity to make the picture feel like it has a lot of depth and then added a clear area in the center in order to make it seem like it continued on for a really long time.   The assignment for this picture was to use gradients but no lines. I ended up drawing this picture by accident.  I was just experimenting with tools and this formed.
